Dannii Says Kylie In Full Remission

SINGER Kylie Minogue is in remission from breast cancer, according to an internet message from her sister.

On her official website Dannii Minogue, 34, told a fan who wrote about their mother's cancer that "my best news to start the new year is that my sister has had her 'Full Remission' too!".

"Last year was a difficult year for many people - I'm just happy that we have a close family and could all support each other," she wrote.

Kylie, 37, was diagnosed with breast cancer last May and underwent surgery at St Frances Xavier Cabrini Hospital in Malvern, followed by radiotherapy in Paris. -- DANIEL ZIFFER
